Native American Home Schooling

Question:
I'm a divorced custodial father with two children in college and three that I
teach at home. Our family is Haudenosaunee (Iroquois). Our nation within the
Iroquois Confederacy is Seneca. We are Wolf Clan. It is very important to us
to preserve our culture and not be dominated by Eurocentric propaganda.
Are there any other Native American home schoolers out there?
Answer:
-I know there is a national Native American Homeschool group in
the US somewhere. If you'll write me later to remind me, I can
probably look it up for you. You might try the AHA (American
Homeschool Association) web site first--I know they have been
informed about it in the past.
-I'm also Seneca (Bear clan) and I homeschool my two younger sons ages 9 and 14.
I've done tons of curriculum searching to find good materials for our family and
I know one or two other NDN homeschoolers. Let me know what your needs are and
I'll do what I can to help out.
