Classical Education

Question:
Does anyone here used the Classical Method of education? I've just read about this for the first time and am interested in a discussion from anyone who is or has done the Trivium. It sounds very interesting and in line with my educational goals for my children.

How do you like it? It is hard to teach? Where can I find resources?

I also read a great book called "The Well-Trained Mind" by Jessie Wise and Susan Wise Bauer. I'm trying to slowly switch over to a more classical approach, mostly as a tool to teach history and Bible. It's not easy to change after six years of using set curriculum for history, but the kids seem to enjoy it a little more because they get to do a lot more of their own exploring.
