Lesson Plan Software for Homeschool?
|
Question:
I am looking into Lesson Planning Software for my two kids in elem. grade
level. Is there any shareware/freeware or commercial programs that help in
lesson planning. I do have a freeware program which isn't very flexible as
far as reporting/printing goes. Any suggestions?
I am presently using a shareware desktop publishing in the meantime just
to have it on computer.
Answer: What aspects do you like/need/want....I would think that
a desktop publishing with tables would do most aspects.
Another approach would be to use a spread sheet, Lotus 123
or Quatro... you get capabilities for date and time
computation (today+30days) the table like layout and
can make connected "what if" dependancy layouts.
It is also pretty easy to make "fill in the blank"
something happens or gets updated...I would say by
4th grade kids could interact with it.
I am not sure of a good source but spreadsheets, using
their macro facilities have been used to program sophisticated
"industrial and manufacturing" schedules.
You also get the capability to easily make graphics like
pie charts, histograms.
