Where to Buy Saxon Math for Cheap??
|
Question:
I found one place to buy Saxon Math (Algebra 1/2) for about $43 which consists
of the "homeschool pack" (book, tests, answers) but not the solutions manual.
Anyone know of a source cheaper than this?
Answer: - Have you tried the Ebay books-education-homeschool-math page? There are quite a lot
of used homeschool curricula available there, reasonably priced.
- Watch the used curriculum boards. I got Saxon 54 complete set
including the text book, solutions manual and tests booklet for
$25.00. If you watch they range used from $25- 40 used. I just saw all
kinds of Saxon on the vegsourse board.
http://www.vegsource.com/homeschool/fs712/index.html for 7-12 grades
http://www.vegsource.com/homeschool/wtb36/index.html for 3- 6 grades
http://www.vegsource.com/homeschool/fsp2/index.html for preschool-2
grades.
They also have wanted boards if you want to post there. Used books are
just as good as new just cheaper. Sometimes you may need to use a pink
pearl eraser but hey... for the difference in cost I'll buy used.
I choose home school after tiring of the beaucratic IEP run around and
my kids are better for it.
