Answer:
California Homeschool Network (CHN) is a new, inclusive, statewide
homeschooling organization serving families across a diverse spectrum
of homeschooling styles and philosophies. CHN exists to provide
resources and information about homeschooling; to protect the
fundamental right of the family to educate its children at home in the
manner it deems appropriate without regulation; and to foster community
among home educators in California.
A network of CHN local contacts is available throughout California
to answer individual questions and a bimonthly newsletter, "The
Network News," is provided to members covering both CHN organizational
news and homeschooling news from around the state, including
legal/legislative updates.
Membership is $25/year for individuals and $35/year for families.
CHN's first publication, the "New Homeschooler Information Packet,"
contains over 25 pages of comprehensive information, articles, and
resources to answer your questions and help you get started educating
your child at home. "New Homeschooler Information Packet" is
available to CHN members for $5 (includes postage & handling).
