help !!new to homeschooling in Texas

Question:
I am planning to start homeschooling my 6 yr old daughter. I have been
considering this since before she ever started school last year. i have
been really afraid of "messing up" if you know what I mean. I have
wondered how I could teach my child as well as the school could. Then I
realized I have been teaching her since the day she was born and I taught
her to read before she everstarted school so I decided I could do this.
What I need is information on on the legal aspect of home schooling in
Texas. What is required and how do I go about pulling my daughter out of
school legally? I would also love any information on good christian
curriculum and ideas and tips on getting started. I know I just need to
relax and go with it but I am still a little anxious. I am not really
concerned about what others think I am just concerned about not doing a
good job. Please help.
