Home schooling information

Question:
I am interested in home schooling my 12yr old daughter in the state of
Georgia and would like some information and or suggestions
Answer:
-At my site, I have lots of information about homeschooling kids aged 11-18,
including a list of diploma-granting independent-study schools and several
articles about homeschooling teenagers.

-A very good resource book is The Teenage Liberation Handbook, written by
Grace Llewellyn and published by Lowry House Publishers (P.O. Box 1014
Eugene, OR 97440-1014). Grace's book, the magazine Growing Without
Schooling (2269 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, MA, 02140) and the magazine
Home Education Magazine (P.O. Box 1083, Tonasket, WA 98855) are all good
resources for "beginners" looking for alternatives. My 13 year old
daughter and I are using the Handbook and I totally recommend it. The
