Homeschooling laws in Wisconsin.
|
Question:
I just found this group, and am wondering if anyone
could give me the rundown on Wisconsin homeschooling
laws. In Illinois, where hubby and I live now, the
state considers homeschools to be private schools
that can run without any interferance from the state
at all. However, I understand that Wisconsin has
an actual homeschool law, but I cannot really make
heads or tails out of it. The law will make a big
difference where my husband and I decide to settle
down and buy a home, so any information or guidance
would be greatly appreciated.
Answer: - A site for legal information is the Home Ed Magazine site.
The main page is: http://www.home-ed-press.com/
The direct link to state laws is:

The following information has been obtained from Growing Without
Schooling magazine 1997 Directory, 2380 Massachusetts Avenue, Suite 104,

(My favorite magazine and they have a great homeschool catalog also.)
