Missouri homeschooling

Question:
Does anyone know if there are any homeschool bands in Missouri, or
private bands that homeschoolers can join? Also: are the public schools
in Missouri open for homeschoolers to attend part time?
Answer:
-Public schools are supposed to allow homeschoolers to attend part time &
you can find an offical policy statement on it at
http://services.dese.state.mo.us/commissioner/communications/LAM93-4.ASC
but I have no experience or word of mouth from anyone as to how it turns
out in reality
-There is an excellent Missouri Homeschooling Page, put together by a
Missourian, listed on my Web site's links page. Missouri has a fairly
easy-going homeschooling statute.
