Homeschooling Foster Children?

Question:
does anyone out there know if it's possible to homeschool foster children?

Answer:
-I don't know all of the rules, but I do recall that one of the other foster families in Camden County (Georgia) did home school their birth AND foster children.

-We homeschooled 2 teens using a Christian-based curriculum, however, we had to legally guardianship to do so. I am in CA and 'supposedly' you are not allowed to homeschool foster children.

-In cases where the child has been barred from attendance by the school system, being prepared to home school would be a big plus. Of course, the only such cases I know of were placed in group homes rather than foster homes, for fairly obvious reasons. But check with your local agencies, particularly private agencies if there are any in your area.
